Harmony is a civil society initiative that develops projects for people with different cultural identities to live together in harmony. It works on projects to combat hate speech, discrimination and harmonization in Türkiye with academicians and non-governmental organizations integratedly.

Harmony Social Leadership Summer School is a social leadership program for young people who want to improve themselves in the field of advocacy and aim to work to support and protect human rights. International and Turkish universities students will be accepted to the program. The program will take place at Akademi Beyoğlu between 17 July - 21 August every Sunday between 11:00 and 18:00 in cooperation with the Omran Stategic Research Center .

The course titles that will be included in the program are as follows: Activism and Rights-Based Movements, Development of Civil Society in Türkiye, Debate and Oratory Education, Social Leadership Education and Arab Spring: Middle East and Revolutionary Movements.

100 people from different ethnicities living in Türkiye, who are between the ages of 18-30 and enrolled in undergraduate and higher education programs of higher education institutions, will be accepted to this program. Participants will receive training from expert civil society managers and academics in areas such as social leadership, social entrepreneurship, effective public speaking, discrimination and activism.

At the end of this program, participants will be entitled to participate in the Harmony Circles program, which will be implemented in the 2022-2023 academic year.
